Last month I had the privilege of photographing Nate and Deb’s wedding. From the pre-wedding meeting, I knew the day would be a blast. Not only were they a fun couple who really appreciate the value of photography, Deb and Nate blocked out an hour of time between the ceremony and reception to take a stroll through the Back Bay of Boston at sunset! Considering the fact that it was March – you could say the stars aligned and the weather was AMAZING, with crystal clear skies. Here are a couple of my favorite images from the day. And be sure to check out the full slide show at the end!
I love details. It’s like a fun game to see how creative you can get with them. However, I always try to get a shot that includes a bit of the personality of the couple. Nate and Deb are true fans of Boston. How could I pick from these!? Note the cute inscription on her ring.
Grabbed this cool shot of her flowers – the bedside table had a black wood bookshelf… made a great backdrop!
The room Deb got ready in was wall-to-wall windows – I just pulled the linen blinds and presto – the room was a giant beautiful soft-box. I think this shot is my favorite that I’ve taken in quite some time.
Here is a series of her getting ready.
Here are a couple of my favorites from the ceremony:
After the ceremony we hopped into a Taxi, my assistant Eric grabbed this great one of them through the driver’s window.
The taxi dropped us off on Commonwealth Ave and we worked our way back through Newbury St. It was so hard to pick only a few!
Here’s a different variation of the one I posted last week:
I loved this fun cake-topper!

One last shot outside to finish off the night!
