I had the chance to get to know Tanya and Alex during their engagement session in Boston’s South End in the fall of 2012. It was a great time strolling along, learning more about how they met and getting a feel for them as a couple. As it turns out, Tanya was also a bridesmaid for Jackie (whose wedding you can see here). By the time their wedding rolled around I felt like I’d known the two of them for quite some time! I had such a blast being part of this group again (Tanya and Jackie had very similar bridal parties) and capturing their beautiful wedding. The ceremony and reception were held at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. It’s always a pleasure to work at the PEM, not only because it’s a gorgeous spot, but because Natalia Laskaris and her team are some of the easiest people to work with in New England. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
Tanya and the girls got ready at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.
I was joined by my good friend David DiNisco who started out with the guys. Alex gettin’ his stretch on:
Tanya and Alex decided to see each other before the ceremony to make sure they had plenty of time to enjoy cocktail hour. We arranged a private meeting in the beautiful gardens on the PEM property.
We spent a few minutes putting the lovely gardens to good use!
After their private moment in the garden we headed a few blocks away to take some family formals.
Back at the museum, Tanya and her parents make their way to the ceremony:

Thank you so much to Tanya and Alex for including me in your day. Also a special thanks to David DiNisco for his help during the day! Check out the slideshow if you’d like to see more images:
