As I look out my studio window over the mounds of snow still remaining from the blizzard, the summer seems FAR, FAR away. As a nice reminder of warmer times, I thought this would be an appropriate wedding to share. Sarah and Jeremy were married on one of the warmest days of the year. At the time I remember thinking I’d give my left arm for a little snow fall during the ceremony, but in retrospect, it doesn’t seem so bad! They were married at the gorgeous Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, CT. The vineyards made such a fantastic setting for their festivities.
I picked a few of my favorites from the day. I hope it reminds you of the warmer times to come!
I’ve got some serious respect for anyone who can walk five feet in these, much less spend the whole day in them!
I was joined by my good friend Tabitha Sherrell for the day. She grabbed a few shots of the guys getting ready:
The girls got dressed at the winery where I had the chance to snap a few shots of Sarah getting into her dress:
One of my favorites from the day! I think this is how everyone wants to feel when they look in the mirror!
The stunning bride!
Sarah and Jeremy set out this great iced tea and lemonade station for their guests before the ceremony. Sadly there was no time for an Arnold Palmer for me!
Jeremy watching his bride come down the isle:
Such a beautiful spot for a wedding.
You’d be hard pressed to find these two not beaming from ear to ear!
Sarah and Jeremy found a little patch of shade (where it was about 15 degrees cooler) and shared a few moments immediately after the ceremony.
Some goofing around during the formals.
We had to get a little goofy with the vines:
Some of my favorite portraits from the day:
The guests moved into the tent just before sunset for the first dance.
The setting sun cast the most beautiful light over the vineyard and reception tent.
Plenty of space for everyone in this tent!
One of my favorites from the toast:
Sarah and her father!
Here’s a few of my favorite moments from the party.
Without a doubt, one of my favorite shots from 2012!
Thank you so much to Jeremy and Sarah for allowing me to capture such a beautiful day! Also, special thanks to Tabitha Sherrell for her help!
