I’ve said this before, but I think most people looking from the outside in couldn’t really fathom being a wedding photographer. Their imagination immediately turns to “bridezilla” and a day filled with terror and stress. The good news is that’s not really the reality of weddings. As a perfect case in point, I was incredibly fortunate to be able to photograph Laura & Brian’s wedding at Harrington Farm. Theirs was a day filled with smiles and joy. It’s always hard to try to pick a few favorite photos that convey the emotion of the day, but hopefully I did a good job with the ones I picked. And don’t forget to check out the slideshow at the end!
Laura got ready at Harrington Farm and was all smiles (ok… maybe a few tears, but happy tears!)
One of my favorite moments of the day is when the bride first gets into her dress. It’s always so fun to be in the room and to be a part of that. I wanted to convey this and so I put together a spread that I think conveys the feelings.
I was joined by Doug Levy for the day, and he snapped this great shot of Brian getting his son dressed. Doug snapped one from the above set as well.
The flower girl carried this cute birch wrapped basket.
Smiles were to be found on both sides of the isle. The ceremony was filled with laughter.
As they walked out the isle as a newly married couple, they were joined by Brian’s son.
I told you – smiles all day!
Joined by the kids for the end of the first dance.
Brian and his mother… I LOVE this one!
One of my favorites from the day – you’re never too old to dance!

Laura and Brian – thank you so much for letting me be a part of the day. It was as fun as it looks! And thanks to Doug for joining me!
