So I’ve finally made it to 2012!!! Ok… so this is from January, but it’s still 2012, so give me a break! I’m super proud of this wedding and Courtney and Matt are two of the funniest and most fun loving folks you’ll meet. We’ve been having a blast designing their album in the studio and I can’t wait to see the final come together. I also give this bridal party the ‘hero’ award for braving it outside in January for an impressively long stretch! We met both bridal parties at the Fairmont Copley Plaza where they got ready together. You can see from the photos that the guys were prepping for the nuptials with laser-beam focus. Meanwhile, the girls were priming and prepping. From the Fairmont we headed over to Charlestown where the ceremony took place. We stopped at the Bunker Hill Monument for some sunset pics with the bridal party and the couple, then finished down on the water in the Charlestown harbor. I also had the pleasure of working with Jeff Brouillet who slayed the crowd with another same-day edit during the reception at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. I’ve got a lot of favorites from this wedding and I hope you enjoy!
I was joined for the day by my good friend, Mark Davidson who started with the guys as they got ready. He grabbed this great shot below:
I got to hang with the girls – not a bad thing! Here are a few favorites during the getting ready:
I LOVE the staircases in the Fairmont. One of my favorites of the year.
Courtney and her father at the church:
I love watching the kids during the ceremony. When I was a kid I always used to stare at the ceiling in the church. (who am I kidding…. I still do…)
You just can’t ask for better light than we got up by the Bunker Hill monument.
Another favorite from the harbor.
Courtney and Matt decked out the ballroom beautifully – but I really loved their winter decorations. Truth be told – Courtney REALLY wanted snow in her pics. Guess we had to settle with these snowflakes this year!
The first dance:
Mark in the sky copter….(ok… balcony – but how cool would it be if we had a sky copter?)
A few from the toasts:
LOVE these parent dances:
Matt and Courtney watching Jeff’s same day edit.
Probably my favorite party shot I’ve taken in a few years!
One final quiet moment to end the night.
Don’t miss this slideshow!!!
Thank you so much Matt and Courtney!! Also – special thanks to Mark Davidson for all his help.
