I hope everyone is having a fantastic summer! Things have certainly been busy here at the studio (thus as usual – the blog remains the neglected stepchild) and I’ve got lots of exciting stuff to share. I’m really excited to show off this gorgeous wedding which took place in May at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Emily and Brett dialed in some amazing weather for their stunning wedding. The girls got ready at the hotel, then the ceremony was held at Our Lady Help of Christian’s Parish in Newton, MA. It’s a stunning church that made for some truly dramatic images. After the ceremony, the party rocked on at the Harbor Hotel’s Atlantic Room.
Without further adieu – some of my favorites of the day:
Sometimes you need to take things into your own hands to get it just right!
Now that’s what I call lashes!
It was high season for tourists in the harbor – so finding a quiet spot was nothing less than a miracle. But this made for a great first look.
We paused for some formals before the ceremony under the iconic arch.
LOVE this one.
I was joined by my good friend Eric McCallister who snapped this great shot:
Eric caught this quiet moment before the ceremony:
Here Jim reacts to Emily coming down the isle. In the foreground, an iPad broadcasting the ceremony via skype so that Jim’s take could take part of the day.
Love how grand this church is.
With only a few minutes of light left – we hung back during cocktail hour to snap a few quiet moments:
A few details from the reception:
EPIC wedding toast by Emily’s sister.
A fun one from the end of the night.
Definitely check out the slideshow!
Thank you so much Emily and Jim for allowing me to share the day with you!! Special thanks to Eric McCallister as well!
