Phew! What a crazy summer! As is the case with every wedding season, the time just flies by. I have so many beautiful weddings to show off and I’m excited to get the blog active again. What better way to start than with this stunning affair organized by Tracy of Tangorra Wedding Planning, and the Boston Public Library. Emily and Bobby grew up in the same small town in Louisiana about three houses away from each other. They’ve been friends as long as they can remember and it was such an honor to be there to capture their gorgeous wedding. Boston was a bit of a destination wedding for their families but they both have a special place in their hearts for the city.
I began my day with the girls at the Lenox Hotel:
My good friend David DiNisco joined the guys as they made their way to the Arlington Street Church:
The guys waited patiently for the ceremony to begin in the front of the church:
Emily snuck in the side door shortly before the ceremony:
Emily and her father share a look before making their way down the aisle:
Dave captured this great bird’s eye view of the moment:
One of my favorites from the day. Clearly these two friends are happy to be together!
We had a few moments for portraits outside in the courtyard:
To bring in the Louisiana roots, the couple tasked the band to lead a second line from the courtyard up to the 2nd floor where dinner would be served:
At the top of the stairs, the guests gathered round the couple for their first dance:
Guests enjoyed the beautiful weather out on the 2nd story balcony:
At the end of the night, guests lined up to send the couple off with style:
Love this! Bobby carried cans that they dragged behind them:
The cans made it all the way back to the Lenox
How cute are these two?!

Thank you so much Emily and Bobby for including me in your wedding! Also, special thanks to Tracey from Tangorra Weddings as well as Dave DiNisco for your help!
