Elizabeth & Evan – A New York Yacht Club Wedding

I hope you enjoyed the Best of 2015 post from last week!  It was so fun to relive the summer and fall through the events I attended (which can often be a big blur).  Now I’m back to the regularly scheduled broadcast of posts and I’m excited to share this beautiful wedding from Newport, RI.  Elizabeth and Evan were married on a stunning day at the New York Yacht club overlooking Newport’s harbor.  I can’t show certain images out of respect for the club, but I am able to show a pretty big collection and I think you’ll get an idea for how spectacular the day truly was.  The wedding was coordinated by Stacia and her talented crew at Exquisite Events.  It’s always a pleasure to work with them because I know the day is going to run smoothly and it’s going to be a gorgeous affair.  I hope you enjoy a selection of some of my favorite moments:

The room where Elizabeth got her dress on was filled with stunning window light which made for some of my favorite images all day:

Elizabeth was eager to see her father for the first time in her dress:

Evan and the guys started the day across the property.  I was joined by my good friend Earl Christie who took these images of the guys getting ready:

In the midst of the bright sun, we found one little private patch for the couple to see each other for the first time:

Some of the details from the ceremony:

After the ceremony, I grabbed the couple for a few shots in the garden:

I just love these images:

You can’t resist heading out for a few shots at sunset:

Such a fantastic day!  Thank you so much to Elizabeth and Evan for including me in their beautiful day!  Also special thanks to Earl Christie for his help as well as Stacia and her crew from Exquisite Events.
