So I’m having a blast of a season so far with some of the most fun couples… and, knock on wood, beautiful weather. I can’t wait to start sharing! Things have been hectic – but great in the studio. In fact, my studio has been updated with a new theater to host my newlywed couples for a premier of their wedding slideshows. I can’t wait for that to begin!
But I’d be remiss if I didn’t post a few more weddings from last season! Caroline and George were married on a somewhat brisk but beautiful day in October at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA. If you’ve never been to visit it’s worth the trip because not only is the estate beautiful, but Crane’s beach is one of the best in New England, in my humble opinion. I wanted to share a few of my favorite images from the day!
The facade is Colonial Williamsburg meets Versailles. As they say… they don’t make them like this any more.
Caroline’s brother carries her dress in the main entry.
Caroline got ready in a beautiful suite upstairs that was flooded with beautiful sunlight.
On hand to touch up makeup was the talented Joanne, from Joya Beauty.
The bridal party makes its way down to the ceremony:
The radiant bride and her father:
I loved the flowers!
The ceremony was filled with smiles and laughter!
The ceremony took place in the sunken garden on the estate property. This photo was taken by my good friend Eric McCallister, who joined me for the day.
Looking back towards the mansion.
As the party swung into high gear inside, the full moon slowly rose over the coastline.
The moon made a perfect backdrop for some quick portraits and a little 1st dance practice!
yes…. it’s a clear tent. How awesome is that?!
Again – the day was filled with laughter, even during the first dance.
Dad beginning with a quick toast:

Thanks so much to Caroline and George for allowing me to share in your day! Also, thanks to Eric for the help!
