Well hello there!! Remember me? It always seems like when the late summer/fall hits, the control on life’s treadmill is switched onto overdrive, and subsequently my blog seems to take a little siesta. Ok… a big siesta. After doing the math – between senior portraits (82 of them), corporate work, and weddings (26 so far this year) – my studio has taken nearly 65k pictures since August. That’s a lot of clicks. That also means I get a little behind on my blogging. But the good news is when the weather gets cold, the pace of life slows a bit and I can try to keep things ‘hot’ by showing off some of my favorite summer weddings. The snow today inspired a fresh post. I hope you enjoy!
I’m very excited to share a few images from Becky and Danh’s wedding. Not only do they have great style (you’ll see with the colors and flowers, etc.) but they kept me laughing all day long. Danh is a goofball in the best way possible, always keeping you laughing – and I felt so lucky to be able to capture their day. As usual, I’ll share the slideshow at the end. I hope you enjoy.
Becky getting ready at the hotel:
I was joined by my friend David DiNisco who got to share a little time with the guys as they beefed up in the gym!
Dave’s grabbed this shot of the guys’ shoes – all personalized!
Becky was a stunner in her traditional tea ceremony dress.
After the tea ceremony, Becky changed into her more traditional western dress:
Hard to get a cuter first look than this:
I believe this was right before Danh said, “No! I’m not crying!”
The ceremony took place outside at the Merrimack Valley Golf Club:
Becky was adorable:
These two were all smiles:
After the ceremony we picked a spot overlooking the course for some quick formals.
Their colors worked so well for such a bright and sunny summery day.
How cute are these two?
The personalized sneaks:
I also wanted to share a few of my favorite moments with the couple:
I love this sunlight!
We caught a ride on a golf cart as the sun started setting over the horizon. We found a little where the two newlyweds could just get a away for a minute and talk. Watching them was so fun.
Proof positive that you CAN look badass in a golf cart.
Dave caught this great shot of a table at the reception:
You can see how the stripes, yellow and grey tied throughout the wedding:
Another favorite image of mine was taken during the premiere of the couples wedding video – pulled together by the extremely talented Jeff Brouillet and his team. Jeff pulled together a same day edit and these reactions speak to the quality of his work.
It seemed fitting to get these two up on the chairs. It was touch and go for a minute – I thought Danh might hit the floor, but he survived:
And the terrified bride got a ride as well!
I thought this picture kind of summed it up well!
Becky and Danh – thank you so much for letting me share this ridiculously funny and fun day together!

Special thanks to David DiNisco for his help as well!
